This map brought together all my urban drifts, recorded with a GPS. The whole is making a drawing, of which the oldest layers are becoming invisible, like a lost memory, and playing with the landscape of the window.

CROSSED VIEW ON A CITYSCAPE
During a two months research residency at Zamek Cultural Center, in Poznan, I discovered an unknown city’s identities from the urban spaces and signs. Inspired by the collective of architect Stalker or the Situationnist goup, I walked and drifted inside the city without any plan, to make a map of it, not like an urbanism plan but more like a sensitive and synesthesic view.
With my camera, I was capturing images, but more than a static a frozen photography of it, I tried to understand it like a vibrant body, with its flux and reflux, vibrations and circulations, or event absence of them. Not only about urbanism and architecture, but also as an inverse, empty spaces, between the buildings, around them, their high, their surfaces and densities. I observed the use of inhabitants taking over the spaces, and detected the stories and histories thought them.
More than a documentation about a city, my photographs and drawings are stimulating the city’s imaginary.

‘Regards croisés sur un paysage urbain’
Durant une résidence de recherche de deux moins au Centre Culturel Zamek, à Poznan, j’ai découvert les identités d’une ville inconnue à travers les espaces et signes urbains. Inspiré par le collectif d’architect Stalker, ou le groupe situationniste, j’ai marché et dérivé dans la ville sans intention déterminée, pour en faire une carte, non comme un plan d’urbaniste, mais plus comme une vision sensible et synesthésique.
Avec mon appareil photo, j’ai capturé des images, mais plus qu’une photographie statique, j’ai essayé de la comprendre comme une corps vibrant, avec ses flux et reflux, vibrations et circulation, et éventuellement leur absence. Pas seulement à propos d’urbanisme et d’architecture, mais aussi comme un inverse, espaces vides, entre les immeubles, autour d’eux, leurs hauteurs, leurs surfaces et densités. J’ai observé l’usage des habitants prenant le pouvoir sur les espaces, et détecté des histoires et l’Histoire à travers eux. Plus qu’une documentation à propos d’une zone urbaine, mes photographies et dessins stimulent l’imaginaire d’une ville.
